Fr. William R. Krizner
Fr. Krizner has been working and serving the St. Colette Catholic Community since March of 2007. Fr. Krizner is the primary celebrant at the weekday and weekend masses. Prior to becoming the Pastor of St. Colette, he was the Chaplain and Director of Youth Ministry at Holy Name High School in Parma, OH for 22 years. Father lives on campus with his two dogs, Lily and Grace.
Deacon Thomas (tom) grasson
Deacon Tom was ordained in 1995. He served at St. John Neumann for 15 years and then transferred to St. Mary’s in Berea for another 5 years. He was granted retirement status by Bishop Richard Lennon in 2016. Upon retiring, he returned to his home parish of St. Colette Catholic Church where he and his wife Judy have been parishioners for over 14 years. Having a desire to stay active in ministry, Fr. Krizner accepted Deacon Tom as a part-time deacon and staff member. In addition to being involved with helping out at St. Colette, Deacon Tom is also a Master of Ceremonies for the Bishops of the Diocese and travels to other parishes helping with confirmations and various installations. He is also active at the Poor Clare Monastery presiding at Benediction twice a month, serving on the Poor Clare’s Foundation Board of Trustees, and helping out with their Annual Fund Raiser. On a personal level, Deacon Tom and his wife Judy truly appreciate and enjoy family life with their three children, their spouses, and of course their six grandchildren. And, as time permits, Deacon Tom is always up for a round of golf.
Gracie came to St. Colette a year after Lily. She came shortly after her Valentine's Day Birthday. She too is from Lucas, Ohio and is a half-sister to Lily with a litter in between. Gracie is adventurous, excitable, and cries whenever she is excited to see a visitor. Her prominent ministries in the parish are to guard the building and ward off any other four legged creatures who may vie for her attention.
Lily hails from Lucas, Ohio. She is a Bearded Collie: a sheep herder. She arrived on Easter Sunday and was given the name Lily. She was the last of the litter and was warmly received by the parish. Lily is relaxed and gentle. Her prominent ministry in the parish is to keep Gracie in-line. She proudly acclaims the gift shop which was named after her and her Sister Gracie
Lisa has been working and serving the St. Colette Catholic Community since October of 2013. Her prominent ministries at St. Colette include Marriage prep and Annulments, R.C.I.A., supporting and organizing prayer groups along with the CARE and Hospitality service ministries, and assisting with Liturgical Celebrations, Parish Gathering, and Pastoral Care along with Fr. Krizner. Lisa resides in Chatham Township with her wonderful husband, Mike. There they both enjoy a quiet life out in the country. She has two sons that she enjoys keeping in touch with on their many adventures and travels.
William "Bill" Gorey III
Jeanette has been working and serving the St. Colette Catholic Community since April of 2015. Her prominent ministries include parishioner registration and envelope coordination. She also is in charge of maintaining and administrating all of the parish's financial accounts. Jeanette is a self-employed CPA and financial planner who assists various parishs with financial oversight.
Event Planner & P.R.
Sabrina has been working and serving the St. Colette Catholic Community since February of 2012. Her prominent ministries includes being a fill in wedding coordinator, youth group advisor, assisting in coordinating the many parish events and documenting weekly donations. Sabrina is actively involved in the daily life at St. Colette, however, she also finds time to pursue a degree at Baldwin Wallace University (public relations major & marketing minor) and to spend time with her friends.
Kathy has been working and serving the St. Colette Catholic Community since April of 2012. Her prominent ministries include organizing all mass intentions for the church, record keeping of the sacramental books, and welcoming parishioners and guest as they walk into the office. Kathy has enjoyed being a member of St. Colette Catholic Church for over 18 years. She spends her time away from the church with her family including her dog Mugsy.
Lily & Grace Gift Shop Coordinator
Kathy has been working and serving the St. Colette Catholic Community since March of 2017. Her prominent ministry includes running the Lily & Grace Gift Shop as well as coordinating the Sunday Preschool Program during the 10:00 mass and assisting with Vacation Bible School. Kathy has enjoyed being a member of St. Colette Catholic Church since 1979. She spends her time away from church by privately tutoring students and teaching GED.
Mary has been working and serving the St. Colette Catholic Community since October of 2015. Her prominent ministries include preparing and scheduling Baptisms along with creating sacramental certificates. Mary welcomes all visitors and new parishioners as a receptionist in the office. Mary has been a parishioner since the founding of St. Colette Parish and a PSR teacher for many many years. However, when she's not at church she enjoys time with her husband, 4 children and being "Gram" to 7 grandchildren.
Renate has been working and serving the St. Colette Catholic Community since May of 2007. Her prominent ministries include being the church sacristan where she prepares the altar for all the masses, maintains the upkeep of the candles and the sanctuary supplies and assists in the coordination of the masses for all the sacraments. Renate enjoys supporting Father at anytime during mass, however, she also enjoys visiting her 3 children with her husband and especially loves visiting and spending time with their grandson.
