Our Mission Statement
The Daughters of St. Colette (DOSC) is a parish organization dedicated to the three "S's," the pillars of our organization: Spiritual, Service and Social. We celebrate our catholic faith through programs, social events and fundraisers that benefit and enhance the spirituality of the Church and community.
If you have any questions about DOSC and what we are all about please contact our President, Lillian Morisky at (216) 534-1948
On February 7th, we celebrated the Feast of our church patron, St. Colette of Corbie. We are grateful for her inspiration and life. St. Colette, pray for us!
It was 40 years ago that Bishop James A. Hickey of the Diocese of Cleveland announced that there would be a new parish in Brunswick, Ohio: “The Church of St. Colette.” St. Colette, pray for us!
Please remember our Poor Clare Colettine nuns on Rocky River Drive in Cleveland. They keep us ever in their daily prayers for our intentions.
Our past meeting was a wonderful way to think of our Veterans at the VA hospital in Cleveland this Valentine’s Day. Our Outreach Committee shared their vision of how to include our Veterans in our thoughts and in our hearts as we made “Valentines for Veterans”.
We shared good conversation, met many new members, and enjoyed the delicious “Super Bowl” theme snacks that overflowed at our refreshment tables. We introduced our By-Laws for revision, as well as gave an outline of some of the activities we have planned for our future meetings this year.
The “King and I” at Playhouse Square in downtown Cleveland, and dinner beforehand is a sell out! Our Social Committee informs us that the bus is full, and we are looking forward to this fantastic event in February. Thank you to all who signed up for this outing, DOSC members and parishioners alike!
Our next meeting: Weds., February 15th at 6:30 PM is in the church hall.
Our guest speaker will be floral designer, Helene Pillar of Hosanna Design (Brunswick). Come and see her marvelous floral ideas!
The refreshment theme is: “Valentine's Day”. Bring some to share, if you wish!
Membership is still only $5.00 per year, and open to women of good faith.
