Holy Name Society Pancake Breakfast

The semi-annual pancake breakfast will be held in the church hall with all proceeds going to fund various Holy Name activities. 

Breakfast will include all you can eat pancakes served with sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, juice and coffee. 

There will also be toppings for the pancakes!

Children's meal (under 12): $4.00  

Adult's meal: $6.00

Pre-Cana

Our Pre-Cana for engaged couples is February 24, 2019.  It begins at 10:00am with mass.  This program is for all who are planning marriage in the coming year.  You may also attend this pre-cana if you are getting married at another church other than St. Colette.  It is $40 per couple and payment will be collected on the day of Pre-Cana.

This day is an informal gathering with a panel of married couples to talk about married life. Most of the discussion is focused around the book, The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman. All couples who register for PreCana are given a copy of the book. 

You must register by calling the parish office at 330-273-5500.  

Our program is truly designed around YOU - you'll find it informative, fun and enlightening!

DOSC Presentation

On Wednesday, February 27th at 6:30pm we will be welcoming Joan C. Kuczek who will give a presentation of the life of Mother Angelica, a Poor Clare nun who founded the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN).

Mother Angelica became one of the most revered women in Catholicism despite suffering through many health problems during her life. Joan’s powerful dramatic performance will be open to all members of the parish. Mark your calendar!

Night at the Races

Night at the Races is our Annual Catholic Education Fundraiser! 

The proceeds from this event benefits our Education Fund. This includes those attending Catholic Elementary School and our own P.S.C.F. program. It is always an exciting night of fun, food, prizes and surprises!

Doors open at 6:00
Dinner begins at 6:30
Races begin at 7:15

Tickets go on sale the weekend of January 19 & 20. Stop in the atrium after all masses to purchase tickets and buy horses. Tickets are $30 a person and horses are $15 each. Cash and check are accepted.

Enjoy the evening and may the best horse win!

DOSC Meeting

Our first meeting of the New Year will be on Wednesday, January 16th at 6:30 in the church hall. We will be making Valentines for in-patient and out-patient veterans at the VA Medical Center in Cleveland. The men and women who have served us are very appreciative of this small token of gratitude. Please bring cookie cutters that are heart or star shaped to assist in drawing. We are looking forward to a fun evening of socializing and some “Super Bowl” themed snacks!

Sale Dates & Times:

  • Saturday, January 19: 8am-2pm

  • Sunday, January 20: 9am-1pm


Unfortunately, there will not be a Stuff the Truck event with the Rummage Sale as Easter Seals no longer does this.

Items NOT Accepted for Rummage Sale: TV’s, computers, mattresses, baby items (cribs, strollers, etc.), Christmas Trees.

We will not be able to provide pick up of any items.
