Weekend of 12/2 & 12/3

THE FIRST WEEK OF ADVENT

We wait in lines, in check-out counters, in cafeterias, in parking lots, in offices, at important appointments, at stop signs and red lights, even the church parking lot...but this is ADVENT and this waiting is special because we are waiting for the Promised One, the Lord and Redeemer, the Son of God and Son of Mary…..Be Joyful & WAIT!

This week begins our Advent Calendar, follow along with your parish family in the bulletin and on Facebook.

Weekend of 12/9 & 12/10

CHRISTMAS VILLAGE

Thanks to ALL who helped to make the Little Christmas Village a joy filled, fun, great time! So many hands and hearts go into an event like that and we could never do it without your help, your dedication, your time and your love. Mr. and Mrs. S. Thank you to everyone who attended and joined us in the fun!

A CHRISTMAS REMINDER FROM LILY & GRACIE

Before the angels made the announcement to the Shepherds...

Before the Shepherds even arrived at the Stable,...

Before the Three Kings made their way from the East....

And Before there were any other visitors to the New Born King,

There were Animals  in the stable...sheep and oxen, cows and donkeys, goats and perhaps doves (we don’t know about chickens).

And if it weren’t for Camels the Wise Men may have not even made it!

We are not certain—but we are pretty confident that among all those animals who were FIRST to GREET the HOLY CHILD were, of course, Dogs!  Merry Christmas to the  animals who, by legend, can speak on Christmas !

The humans may not have had room in the inn—but the animals warmly welcomed Him!

Merry Christmas to all!   -Lily & Grace

Weekend of 12/30 & 12/31
