Weekend of 9/24 & 9/25

Happy Birthday!

The parish family of St. Colette would like to wish Abbot Father Gary Hoover a very happy and blessed 60th birthday on October 5! You are a blessing to our parish!

Thank you!

Thank you to all the women who joined us for the women's retreat! The ladies had a prayerful and fun time sharing "Laughter and Stillness in the Garden of God's Love!"

Thank you!

Thank you to all who participated in, volunteered at, or sponsored the first annual Father Krizner Golf Outing! It was a terrific day enjoyed by All! Special thanks to Joe Pierani, Tom Bandwen, Karen Bandwen, Sabrina Plumb, Thomas DeCastra and to ALL who worked so very hard to make the day the success that it was! All proceeds from the event go to benefit our children's programs.

Weekend of 9/17 & 9/18

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Erin Sharpe who won the $500 Holy Name Society scholarship! Erin attends St. Joseph & John School and is beyond grateful for the scholarship.

Thank you!

Thank you to all the first responders and military who joined us for our 9/11 Memorial Mass. A packed Church in the presence of the Lord and surrounded by heroes- from World War II to the present. It was an evening of prayer, patriotism, gratitude and remembrance. Thank you to John Stack Jr. who presented to Father a Memorial Bell of 9/11-there were only so many bells cast which have been used to ring during Memorial Services. Thank you again to all the parishioners who joined us!

Weekend of 9/10 & 9/11

In Remembrance...

Please remember those who lost their lives from the tragedies of 15 years ago. Why remember? Because if we choose not to remember we may truly forget what started it all in 2001 and begin to take terrible events as just another bad thing that happened somewhere in our world. We owe our children and future generations much more than that. As Christians, our hope is in the Lord who alone can move minds and hearts toward peace and a world where safety and security, love and understanding reign supreme. And so let us pray.

Weekend of 9/3 & 9/4

Parishioners out and about...

Our Parish Facilitator, Bill Gorey, and 4:00 mass server, Ben Emerson, were down at the Cleveland Air Show celebrating Labor Day weekend on Sunday. Bill, who is also a Cleveland Fire Fighter, was hard at work collecting money for Muscular Dystrophy when Ben and his family stopped for a picture. Looks like everyone had a great time!
